Sub-clan: Jets and dogfighting

I've been tossing around the idea of creating a sub-clan in my head for awhile now. I was thinking about creating a sub-clan within UGL that specifically dealt in fighter jets and calling it something along the lines of the UGL Sky Talons. With large maps like Caspian Border and two of the four Back to Karland maps containing airspace for jets I thought it might be relevant to have a dedicated force to piloting. I know Lancer and JB would be the first two to sign on if this were to come to light. I know this blows our whole clan image of being a well rounded, team oriented fighting force but I thought I'd try and grab some opinions on this idea before getting too far ahead of myself. So feel free to post your thoughts about it and any questions you might have; I want this discussed. Clownz throw something like this up on the UGL facebook page, I know there are a few people that check facebook more often than these forums.

i would be interested since i ran with you in planes on 1942, jets or helo's CLOWNZ is thurr.

Well, good news is that everyone will be on a level playing field at first. Those who put the time in learning how to use the chain guns on the jets will be the first to unlock ATA missile capabilities. Judging from the descriptions I was able to read on the Battlelog it's going to take a lot of kills to unlock anything. Glad to see a few people backing this idea, I'll set it up when the game launches and send out respective invites. Those in UGLST will set their primary platoon to the Sky Talons with the normal UGL platoon as a secondary.

I'll post this forum thread on Facebook. As far as the sub-clan, I was thinking something along those lines myself. A specialist group if you would. Details are still in my head, but when I do figure it out, I will let you know.

Be a nice touch to have a specialize group dedicated to jets or something, that way we know who is going to do what when they're able.

Basic overview of the Sky Talons:

-The Sky Talons will specialize in airborne vehicular warfare and will arm as such on all maps featuring aircraft; excluding UAVs.
-All Sky Talons will also be proficient in using the Engineer class and will use this class on all maps featuring armored vehicles or aircraft; any class may be chosen on all infantry only maps.
-A recruit looking for a Cadet position in the Sky Talons will only be accepted if they have already joined UGL, remained in active service for a period no shorter than one (1) month, and have demonstrated or can be verified to have proficiency in airborne combat (i.e stats). -After being accepted into the Sky Talons the new recruit will remain at the rank of Cadet until their first service star is attained since joining UGL. (Rank system is currently a WIP)
-The new Cadet is also free specialized in his/her aircraft of choice.

im torn between flying an awesome jet and cruising around in my trusty main battle tank.....wat to do, wat to do?
